This year participants will be receiving custom Butte medals and a gift bag when they finish. All participants that pre register will be entered into drawings for door prizes donated by our many local sponsors.

The Butte Challenge is the most established community walk/run in Eastern Oregon. Under the direction of Hermiston XC, and with the generous support of the Good Shephard Hospital and Toyota, countless sponsors and volunteers the event has grown each year.

Now, in its 24th year, the Butte Challenge is the #1 fundraiser for the Hermiston Cross Country Program(Girls & Boys, Middle School & High School, JV & Varsity). All profits from this event benefit youth running in Hermiston.
